Agneepath is a 2012 bollywood action thriller movie which is produced by Karan johar.It is a remake of 1990's Agneepath movie and is Directed by Karan Malhotra.The title of the movie is taken from the same name's poem called 'Agneepath' which was signed by Harivansh Amitabh's father,The title of this movie is taken from a poem of the same name called 'Agneepath' which was signed by Amitabh's father,Harivansh Rai Bachchan and creates a the-matic link that continues through the movie, particularly in the climax, both literally and metaphorically recited at the beginning of the movie,where as Sanjay Dutt plays the role of the main antagonist Kancha Cheena,Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan,originally played by Danny Denzongpa and Amitabh Bachchan respectively.The film stars Priyanka Chopra as actress as the female lead. Other members of the starring include Rishi Kapoor playing a newly introduced negative character, Om Puri and Zarina Wahab among others,.Originally releasing date on 20 January, Agneepath was postponed by a week to 26 January 2012, making it a Republic Day release. Upon release, the film broke the record of highest opening day collection and became a critical and commercial success.
